Peeking Out of the Closet

Hello, It's been an odd couple of weeks. I have spent a lot of time doing some serious thinking and being alone (a little more than usual), staring into space, watching every single "coming out" video on youtube and doing more thinking.  And in the middle of all this antisocial hermit-activity, I came out to myself. Hello Again

Well.  It's been awhile since I've posted anything on here.  Wait...2 YEARS?  Crap, I really suck at this. Anyways, all suckiness aside, I've decided to try getting back into dA again for a number of reasons: 1) dA is awesome and I miss it. 2) Saying "dA" makes me think of "Dumbledore's Army" from Harry Potter.   3) It will probably encourage me to write more. 4) I love reading/looking at all the awesome things that people post here! It's good to be back, everyone. :)

NaNoWriMo

So, last Thursday I heard of NaNoWriMo (national novel writing month) and in a rare spur of the moment decision, I decided that I would join all those brave, crazy, and awesome people and attempt to write a novel. Key word here: ATTEMPT. The problem is that I only heard of NaNo on the day that it started-Nov. 1, so I'm not exactly sure what my story is about. Great start, right? Right now I'm sort of planning the story and characters and what not, and writing the story at the same time because some stuff just came into my head. The other problems? I'm a big procrastinator. Naomi is one of my favourite people in the world. I envy her writing so much - anyone can relate to it, she always knows which word to use to manipulate the reader's feelings, and all her ideas are original and surprising.
